Monstera Adansonii Blanchettii - Large Rooted Leaf
As a mature plant, Monstera adansonii ssp. Blanchetii produces stunning and elegant extra-large foliage, especially when it is fastened to a support pole. Optimal temperature is between 65 to 90 degrees, with high humidity. Do not place this plant in direct sunlight, as it's leaves will yellow or burn. While this plant enjoys drying out, do not let it completely dry. This will result in yellowing leaves and leaf death. In addition, do not over-water, as this also leads to yellowing leaves and leaf death, as this plant does not enjoy being waterlogged. Propagating M.adansonii Blanchettii leads to prolific, adventitious growth. Propagations are best when grown in Sphagnum moss and water; though, soil may be used as well. However, we prefer the effectiveness of the other two mediums.
This is considered a rare monstera and is difficult to find.
Leaves shown for purchase are mature leaves, varying between 6 to 10 inches in length. Cuttings are rooted cuttings, shipped in sphagnum and wrapped in cellophane.
