Pothos “High Gold/Hawaiian” Cutting (7 to12 in length)

Pothos “High Gold/Hawaiian” Cutting (7 to12 in length)

Epipremnum aureum, commonly referred to as 'golden pothos' or 'devil's ivy,' produces stunning yellow and white marbled foliage. Outdoors, this plant grows abundantly and is considered invasive in warmer, tropical climates. This plant thrives in sunny, humid environments but can tolerate lower lighting. Without adequate lighting, the leaves lose their variegation and may turn brown where there is white variegation. When staked to a pole, this plant grows large showy foliage. To grow giant leaves, the plant must reach full maturity. Maturity usually occurs between 8 to 10 years, depending on lighting, watering, fertilization, temperature, and humidity.

Leaves shown for purchase are mature leaves, varying between 8 to 12 inches in length. Cuttings are not rooted, shipped in sphagnum and wrapped in cellophane.

For best results, pot this cutting with 5 to 15 large to medium sized pothos cuttings. After receiving your leaf, place in water for 8 to 10 weeks or more (until you see roots) then pot it into Sphagnum moss for 6 weeks, then pot it in soil.  Be sure to stake this to a pole by using floral tape, jute cord, or floral wire. Be sure to use well-draining soil and a pot with sufficient drainage holes.
